Ritz-Carlton Toronto Opens Today

Ritz-Carlton Toronto
The Ritz-Carlton is coming to Canada today with the opening of its Toronto hotel near the financial and performing arts districts. While we're looking to head south this month, we're excited to know there's an outpost of the Ritz next time we have an opportunity to go to Toronto. The guestrooms are predictably lux with floor to ceiling windows overlooking either Lake Ontario or the city and the bathrooms have heated marble floors, plasma t.v.'s, and rain showers. The hotel's signature restaurant is Toca by Tom Brodi and features a Canadian menu with homegrown products from local suppliers  We're curious about the walk-though pastry kitchen, the in-kitchen chef's table and the glass encased cheese cave. The lounge located on the same level offers tapas and a raw bar if you're in the mood for lighter fare. For more information visit

Yeah, finally Ritz is open in Toronto. Location is absolutely stunning, offers amazing view of the Toronto skyline and Lake Ontario.

The rooms are lush with hallmark Ritz amnesties.
